Lord have mercy, there has been a ton of it in my life lately.
Mostly it is family drama, none of which I feel I can elaborate on yet. When I can, it will be a doozy of a post and I'll just recommend now that you sit down, pop open an adult beverage or several, and read. Trust, the story will get told, just not today, as the story is "developing" as the news always says.
I started classes this past week -- Data Analysis in Public Systems and Public Administration in a Political Environment. Neither one are required for my Ph.D., per se, but both will be immensely helpful as I get back into the swing of studying, learning and contributing. Both are online -- which I like -- but also the first classes I've ever taken online. *hitches up pants* Back in MY day, you had to go to class, yep, trudge all the way in, sometimes TWICE a week and actually meet with your classmates in person ...
Making plans to return to Indiana over Thanksgiving. See the fam, see friends, hang out.
Family. Kinda makes me understand this guy's business.

Good grief, stop with the whining.
I generally like the secretary, ahem, administrative assistant in the office. She generally is pleasant to talk to and decent enough at what she does.
I also rarely ever ask her to do anything for me.
Today I asked her to fill out a FedEx envelope for me. You'd have thought it was the motherfucking apocalypse.
It has taken ten minutes and counting. And she's still whining. There is going to be a throwdown by this afternoon if this shit doesn't stop.

A little bet ...
Anyone want to guess the first thing a wife does when she hears her husband proclaim, publicly, that the other woman was "his soul mate"?
a) Reconcile with him.
b) Clean out the bank accounts
c) Hire the shark-iest attorney ever.
d) Change the locks on all residences
e) B, C and D
I guarantee you this: if I were Jenny Sanford, Mark would WISH he had been hiking the AT, nude, without sunblock and bug spray, for a month.
***********
As an equal opportunity kind of gal, WTF Denny Oxley? Seriously? You have to be dumber than a sack of hammers to be caught out drunk, with an intern, then proclaim you are still a member of the House of Representatives. Smooth move, Ex-Lax.

Update to my burst blood vessel ...
Talked to Mom yesterday morning about Cousin B and Kid1 and the trials and tribulations of the college experience.
Apparently Kid1, after three semesters in college, did not know until Saturday what a syllabus is/was. Yes, let me repeat. Did. Not. Know. What. A. Syllabus. Is. After. Three. Semesters. In. College.
What
The
Fuck
?
Oh my, so much is explained now. So much makes sense despite the raging migraine in my head each and every time I think, for one moment, how anyone could spend three semesters in college without knowledge of what a syllabus is. It all makes sense.
